Friday was the last school day of the first quarter. And that ended my first quarter as a math teacher in Noarootsi School. There's a lot to think about and a lot I would like to do better. But there are also many things I am happy about:
1. I have managed to build a good trusting teacher-student relationship with (most of) my students.
2. Students see me as somebody who is calm and helpful.
3. I'm on track with the trimester plans I created before the school year.
4. I feel comfortable in front of the classroom, in Noarootsi School and with my colleagues.
And I believe I'm constantly getting better and better.
On Friday, my good friend Maria visited me. We had a lot of catching up to do and we also got to experience an amazing sunset in Noarootsi parish (my current home).
Why being vegan works for me...
Violence, intolerance and war isn't the answer...
I guess what I'm trying to say is that if we really want peace, we would have to solve the wars inside ourselves, before there is a need for a war on a larger scale.
