Here’s what I found out…
When I started to do yoga a few years back, I didn’t really like it. My body was stiff and wasn’t working in the yogaposes the way I wanted it do. I knew that the only way I’m going to learn it better and even learn to love it, is if I go through kind of a “yoga bootcamp”. So I enrolled to a three-week yoga teacher training in Peru. At first we did up to three hours of yoga (sometimes even more) EVERY DAY! It was a challenge, but at the end, I learned to love it.
2) Travel to Peru +
People who know me well, know that I’m pretty stubborn person. Sometimes it works for me, sometimes it works against me. Graduating from Tartu University is one of those things which I did out of stubbornness, because I don’t like unfinished business. The truth is, after first semester, I realized I don’t really like it as much as I thought I would and after five years of studies I’m pretty sure I might never work on that field. Nevertheless there is one thing I got out of it and which is going to be awesome for the rest of the life - making new connections and friends. And also the confidence and knowledge to…
This is the sentence which made me realize that you have to be very careful and precise what you want and ask from the universe. Yes, I did start my own business. First step done. But I haven’t really made something with my company and to tell you the truth, when I was in Peru, I thought that first thing I do when I come to Estonia is to put an end to this moment of madness and close my company. Today I added another wish to my list: make my company successful and financially stable. My business is still a baby, but now I’m thinking that I might just make something really awesome with it. Something that would benefit my friends, family, society and would set an example for people who are trying to figure out what to do work-vise.
I did an hour meditation after hiking up to Macchu Picchu mountain (1.5 hours of hiking up the stairs). It gave me a lot of clarity and perspective. I feel that over there, for the first time in my life (and for the rest of my life) I really connected with Mother Earth and established a long-term relationship with our beautiful beautiful Earth. Through that I am more grounded and I feel as if I’m more able to make my dreams into reality cause I have that feeling of being supported by something really amazing and powerful at all times.
My hostfamily in USA has a big ranch with horses. Everybody can ride horses in their family. So on Sundays I had the privilege to make my childhood wish come true and learn to ride horses on my own. I have this vision that in the future I’m going to use the help of horses in my healing work. I put a video on the Conscious Awareness page about healing with horses and how it is very therapeutic for children with handicap especially with autism.
I did that a lot in Cuzco and around it (on my way to Macchu Picchu for example). This area of Peru is pretty mountainous with amazing scenery. When you first arrive to Cuzco, you should definitely look out from the window of the plane, as you are flying over the mountains and valleys. Breathtaking!
My favourite place for hiking is the Temple of the Moon, just outside of the Cuzco city. It is an ancient temple of the Inkas and the energy there… Wow… Every time I went there, I definitely became more clear, energized and happy.
When I first wrote that wish, I had in my mind a huge house, big garden and view on the sea. I’m sure that is on the way, but I realized that I do have (had) a home in a beautiful area with beautiful scenery all through the year, both in Peru and in Estonia. In Peru I lived in different places, but one my favourites was an appartment with a balcony with a view on Cuzco city and the surrounding mountains. Now, in Estonia, I have a cute appartment in downtown Tallinn. From my home it’s a 10-minute walk to the promenade next to the seaside. I didn’t realize how gorgeous the scenery is, until I started to take advantage of the running and biking trails. It’s a 30 km pathway next to the seaside which ends up in our national museum. Early in the morning when I go for a run the sea is still quite still, the sky is painted pink and purple as the sun is just about to rise and the seabirds greate a perfect harmony for a perfect scenery.
First, I have to make my list longer, cause I’m planning to live at least a 100 years.
Second, my list has started to live it’s own life. It’s like a self-fulfilling prophesy where all I have to do is follow my heart…
